Multi-Purpose Building Project
What a blessing from God as our church attendance and
associated giving have increased here at Duval Station Baptist. It was our
desire to pay off church debt before any construction of new facilities could
begin. We are now debt-free and looking forward to constructing a very sensible
and cost efficient multi-purpose building to serve our community.
A Multipurpose Facility
Our church responsibility is to be good stewards of God's money. By constructing a multipurpose facility we will be able to utilize our resources for church services, Awana game times, sponsored events, as well as indoor sports such as basketball and vollyball.
Worship
The worship center will accommodate seating for 400 attenders. The stage area will be an open format allowing for larger stage groups, choir members, instruments and props for church musicals and dramas.
Open plan with chairs instead of stationary pews
An open floor plan allows for versatile setup of events including normal worship, Awana game use, banquets, mission conferences, and indoor ball sports.
Reception/Lobby
The lobby will be inviting to new attenders and will provide a welcoming first
indoor impression. Care team members will have a place to greet visitors. Expanded lobby space allows for ease
of entrance and egress in the case of an emergency. There will be space
available for display setups for missionary tables, event signups, banners and
promotions.
Kitchen/Cafe
A kitchen facility will be included food warmers and light kidchen use and provide coffee, beverages and snack items.
